Who the course is for
 

Those who will be involved in the internal auditing program of their organization’s Health and Safety systems:

• Quality Managers/Auditors
• HSE Advisors
• Line Managers & Safety Representatives

Though not essential, some previous experience of OH&S Management Systems may be desirable. Delegates are expected to have a good basic knowledge of occupational health and safety.

Objectives

By the end of this two-days course, participants will be able to:

• Describe the purpose of well-defined and managed quality management systems
• Assist in the implementation of a management system based on ISO 45001:2018
• Recognise existing control mechanisms in place which minimize risk and ensure quality
• Discuss the importance of audit to the internal and external workings of a business
• Use ISO 45001:2018 as a framework for continual improvement

• Purpose and Role of Internal OH&S Audits
• Internal Audit Based on ISO 19011:2018
• What to look for in: Policy and Planning; Implementation and Operation; Checking and Corrective Actions
• Report Writing
• Practical Exercises and Feedback
