Central Java - As the first hotel in Semarang holding Bureau Veritas’ Safeguard label, guests staying at Hotel Ciputra Semarang can be assured of the highest hygiene and safety standards.

Hotel Ciputra Semarang owned by Ciputra Group and managed by Swiss-Belhotel International has implemented a series of protective measures from Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection, and certification services in the hygiene sector. A comprehensive and detailed checklist of global health, safety and hygiene based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and public authorities has been strictly executed in Hotel Ciputra Semarang to put guests and staff at ease  when conducting activities at the hotel.

Field audits are carried out to ensure protective measures are implemented efficiently. These include protective masks, daily temperature checks, strict social distancing across all areas of the hotel including restaurant, executive lounge, elevator, pool (when open) and gym, sanitisation fogging, and UV light disinfection.

In guest rooms, housekeeping undergoes a complete sanitisation fogging process, using UV disinfection tower, pillow, and mattress protectors are changed after each checkout. Rooms are left vacant for 48 hours after each stay as an additional safety measure. For dining experiences precautionary measures, the whole area of the restaurant is sanitised before each service, buffets are redefined as á la carte, tables are carefully distanced from one to another, and all amenities are treated in highest hygiene measurement.
